Escape to the timeless beauty of Transylvania for an intimate, thoughtfully curated floral retreat where flowers, culture, and creativity come together. Based in the medieval citadel of Sighișoara, you'll experience the art of floral design while exploring enchanting Saxon villages, fortified churches, artisan traditions, and breathtaking landscapes. Throughout the week, you'll create seasonal bouquets, centerpieces, floral jewelry, botanical textiles, and elegant tablescapes inspired by the beauty of Romania and its rich cultural heritage.

Saturday, June 5 | Arrival in Cluj-Napoca

Welcome to Romania! Arrive in Cluj-Napoca and settle into your accommodations. Take time to relax after your journey and prepare for an unforgettable week of flowers, creativity, and discovery.


Sunday, June 6 | Welcome to Transylvania

Begin your journey with a curated welcome brunch in Cluj-Napoca before traveling through the rolling countryside to the beautifully preserved medieval citadel of Sighișoara, your home for the week.

After checking in, enjoy time to settle into your accommodations before gathering for a welcome dinner, where you'll learn about the inspiring week ahead.

Monday, June 7 | The Art of the Spiral Bouquet

Begin your floral journey with our signature workshop, The Art of the Spiral Bouquet. Learn the European spiral technique while creating a naturally styled bouquet using seasonal flowers and garden-inspired design principles.

Spend the afternoon exploring the cobblestone streets, colorful houses, towers, and hidden corners of the medieval citadel of Sighișoara before gathering for an evening wine tasting featuring exceptional Romanian wines.

Tuesday, June 8 | The Art of the Garden-Inspired Centerpiece

Saschiz & Viscri


Discover the beauty and traditions of Transylvania's Saxon villages.

Begin the day in Saschiz, where you'll enjoy a hands-on pottery experience with local artisans before continuing to the storybook village of Viscri. Visit the UNESCO-listed fortified church and stroll through one of Romania's most beloved villages, known for its beautifully preserved Saxon homes and the restoration efforts of King Charles III.

In the afternoon, create a garden-inspired floral centerpiece in the peaceful setting of King Charles' house, drawing inspiration from the surrounding gardens and countryside.

Wednesday, June 9 |Art, Craftsmanship & Floral Inspiration

Sibiu

Travel to the elegant city of Sibiu, celebrated for its architecture, vibrant squares, and rich artisan heritage.

Discover beautifully hand-painted furniture adorned with traditional floral motifs and learn about the craftsmanship that has been passed down through generations. Create your own hand-painted keepsake inspired by these timeless designs.

Enjoy free time to explore Sibiu's charming streets, artisan boutiques, local cafés, and historic landmarks before returning to Sighișoara.

Thursday, June 10 | The Art of Floral Jewelry

Mălâncrav & Biertan

Spend the day immersed in the beauty of the Saxon countryside.

Visit the medieval church in Mălâncrav, renowned for its remarkable frescoes, before enjoying a guided foraging experience through the surrounding landscape.

Create a botanical table runner using the traditional hammered-flower technique, design delicate floral jewelry, and enjoy an authentic bread-baking/”gogosi” making experience in a traditional village.

Continue to Biertan, home to one of Transylvania's most impressive UNESCO-listed fortified churches, before returning to Sighișoara.


Friday, June 11 | The Art of the Curated Table

Bethlen Castle

Enjoy a leisurely morning in Sighișoara before traveling to the beautiful Bethlen Castle for a truly unforgettable finale.

Experience a horse-drawn carriage ride through the village of Cris, gather seasonal flowers, and create an elegant floral tablescape inspired by the surrounding gardens and countryside.

As the sun begins to set, celebrate the week with a beautifully curated farewell dinner prepared by a private chef in the historic castle setting. A professional photographer will capture the floral creations, the tablescape, and the special moments shared throughout the evening.

Saturday, June 12 | Farewell

After breakfast, depart for Cluj-Napoca, with arrival at the airport planned for approximately 12:00 PM to allow ample time for departing flights.

Leave Transylvania with new friendships, unforgettable memories, and fresh creative inspiration—along with a deeper connection to its flowers, landscapes, traditions, and the people who made this journey so special.

Moderate. Guests should be comfortable walking on cobblestone streets, uneven village paths, and climbing occasional stairs.

Private accommodations throughout the retreat. 

  • $1,500 non-refundable deposit reserves your place.  

The remaining balance may be paid in monthly installments, with final payment due March 1, 2027. 

Private rooms are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. 

Space is intentionally limited to ten guests to ensure an intimate and personalized experience. Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
